OUR PROCESS
1) Find a therapist
Get in touch via our contact form or search for a therapist directly via our therapist and counsellors page.
Alternatively, call us on 07933 192 453.
2) Preferences and availability
We will then discuss your requirements, preferences and availability.
You can view individual therapist profiles to shortlist some that might be best suited to you.
3) Initial consultation
You will then speak to a therapist, or therapists, where you’ll have the chance to explain your needs in more detail, ask questions and decide whether you’d like to book your first session or spend some time thinking about it.
4) Connect and establish goals
During the first session, you can confidentially share as much or as little information as you feel comfortable sharing. This is a time for you and the therapist to get to know each other.
The therapist will open the conversation up to your current concerns and goals. You will be encouraged to ask questions and can talk about your background, childhood and any medical issues.
The job of the psychotherapist is to guide you where you want to go and you needn’t feel pressured.
5) Contact us at any time
The therapist-client fit is very important to us. If at any time you would like to consult another therapist, we will help you find a more suitable match.
