We all have modes of behaviour that we get stuck in sometimes.

We all have times when we feel like we can’t move forward.

Somewhere along the line, when we were smaller and more vulnerable than we are now, we learned that certain ways of being were safer for us than just being ourselves.

We learned that certain feelings were acceptable to express around the people we relied upon for sustenance, support and self-worth, while others weren’t.

Those patterns remain with us, in the bodymind, ready to hijack us whenever we’re under conditions of stress.

Causing us to act in ways that we’re not proud of later.

In ways that undermine our relationships, our careers and our sense of wellbeing.

If only there was a way to stop your big feelings overwhelming you, so you could be the parent, partner, lover and friend you know you’re capable of being.

If only there was a way to let go of all the fear and anger and resentment that’s accumulated over so many years of trying to keep it all together, so you could feel easier and lighter.

If only there was a way to become more present and connected to yourself and those around you, so that you don’t lose yourself in repetitive, predictable, compulsive behaviour.

If only there was a way to heal all that shame and all those feelings of not being good enough, so that you could find compassion, acceptance and love for all the different parts of yourself.

What if I told you there was a way to achieve all this that doesn’t involve digging through all your old stories, wounds and traumas in talk therapy?

Pulsing is a transformative style of bodywork that aims to gently and gradually break down the defences that keep us from reaching our full potential.

It uses soothing rocking movement along with breath, voice and passive stretches to help you experience your body in new ways. Through this ‘holistic self-experiencing’ your bodymind will recognise, process and let go of your old, unhelpful patterns.

It is a guided process of deep inner exploration, somatic experiencing and, where it’s needed, emotional release and integration.
